Mercy that meets real needs.

Hope Presbyterian Church partners with local ministries across Columbus — on campus and in the city — to extend the welcome of Jesus where it's needed most.

Love that shows up in Columbus.

Hope for the City is how we extend the welcome of Jesus beyond our Sunday gathering — through partnerships with local ministries serving neighbors, families, and the campus community.

Show up locally

Mercy starts close to home — with real neighbors, real needs, and real relationships in Columbus.

Partner well

We work alongside organizations already doing faithful work in the city rather than reinventing the wheel.

Preserve dignity

Our goal isn't charity for its own sake — it's justice, hospitality, and the preservation of families and communities.

Resources Hope is involved in.

These are three of the organizations our church partners with most closely — on campus and across the city.

Carmen House

Carmen House is a non-profit Christian Study Center on the doorstep of The Ohio State University — a physical hub for Christian hospitality where students, faculty, and staff explore life's deepest questions and integrate faith with learning.

Hope's Involvement

Hope partners with Carmen House to extend Christian hospitality across the OSU campus. Our church supports their work financially, and many in our community participate in their programs — from the Speaker Series to the annual Winter Symposium.

My Village Ministries

My Village Ministries comes alongside families in crisis by connecting church partners with opportunities to host children in safe, loving homes — giving parents the space to stabilize while keeping families together whenever possible.

Hope's Involvement

Hope Church is a partner church with My Village Ministries. Our people volunteer, host, and financially support a model of care that keeps kids connected to their families instead of entering the foster system unnecessarily.

  • Host FamiliesTrained families open their homes for short-term stays when parents need support.
  • Church PartnersA network of congregations across Columbus providing volunteers, resources, and care.
  • Family PreservationA proven model that keeps children with their families through seasons of crisis.
