The Lord says in Isaiah 40:1-2 to comfort and speak tenderly to his people who are struggling. This Sunday we hear one of three voices that do just that. This Sunday, we hear a voice that cries "prepare!" What does it mean, day to day, to prepare for the Lord's coming? How can we be hospitable to Jesus today, and with an eye towards the future?
